Ruling on Buying Gold Online from an E-Commerce Store

At Khaled Halabi Gold & Jewelry Store, we ask our customers to appoint one of our authorized staff members who prepares orders. This employee delivers the gold to the shipping company or courier to ensure lawful possession in accordance with Islamic principles.
When placing an order through our store and proceeding with payment, you are asked to agree to the following terms and conditions:
“I, the buyer, authorize one of Khaled Halabi Jewelry employees to receive the order and hand it over to the shipping company or courier.”
This procedure is implemented to fulfill the Shariah requirement that gold transactions involve hand-to-hand possession. Through this process, we ensure lawful possession, God willing.
